Welcome to the Dryden Imagination Library!
Happy Holidays
The Dolly Parton Imagination Library will mail your child an age-appropriate book every month, from birth until they are 5 years old. The books are brand new and they are yours to keep. It’s free to families living in the City of Dryden.
We currently have funding for 140 children, once we receive more donations and additional funding we are able to open it up to more children.
The books are selected by an advisory panel of experts from the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. The books are fun, engaging and developmentally appropriate. Many are classics, beloved by parents and children alike and include many Canadian favourites.
Reading books to very young children is one of the best head starts you can give them. It exposes children to new words and language and shows them that their parents value reading. That’s why we want every child in our community to have access to lots of great books.
The Dryden Imagination Library is a collaboration between the Dryden Public Library, Dingwall Ford Dryden Ltd and the Moffat Family Fund.
We rely on donations from individual donors, local businesses and service clubs.
