Chatham-Kent

The Kiwanis Club of Chatham-Kent consists of a group of community volunteers whose primary focus is on children.

While perhaps best known in the community for operating the annual Chatham Kiwanis Music Festival for over 75 years and for the Kiwanis Theatre, we also provide support for youth education and leadership development and a Kiwanis Aktion Club partnership with Community Living.  As well we support a number of local charitable organizations and activities.

For the last several years our strategic statement, "Children are our focus.  Literacy is our goal", has guided our activities as we've developed partnerships with the Chatham-Kent Public Library and several of our local elementary schools.

We're delighted to partner with Dolly Parton's Imagination Library as we extend our literacy support by encouraging a love of reading in pre-school children.
