Giving Opportunities to Kids (GOT Kids) is a unique organization with the mission of supporting children who attend Lodi Unified School District schools.  The foundation provides opportunities beyond the classroom experience to help children explore and develop their talents, interests, and skills. Today’s society is filled with challenges for children of all ages, and GOT Kids seeks to help them develop the capacity to navigate through barriers to realize their capabilities.

Below are examples of programs funded by GOT Kids.

• Clothing and supplies to homeless and low-income students

• Early literacy programs

• Summer science programs

• Class trips to learn about careers, science and to experience the arts

• Art show for high school students

• Sponsorship of academic teams to competitions

• Books to low-income families

• Facilitation of scholarships from organizations for high school seniors

• Funding for the Choices program to help 8th graders learn about life choices

• Sponsorship of immersive filmmaking workshops for students with developmental disbilities

All of these services and much more are made possible through the generous donations from our community partners.
