Jefferson County

Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is now available in over 60% of Jefferson County thanks to funding from the Colorado Department of Early Childhood, the office of Governor Jared Polis, Jefferson County Library District, and the Metropolitan Football Stadium District. We are actively fundraising to open the remaining zip codes in Jefferson County. 

This evidence-based program mails one brand-new developmentally appropriate book to a child to keep every single month until a child's 5th birthday. Research shows that a child enrolled in Imagination Library is better prepared for kindergarten than nonparticipants. 

When children are excited about books and excited to learn, they are more successful in school.
