College Park

Rotary Club of College Park (FL) Foundation is proud to be celebrating its 10th anniversary as a local champion for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.  During that time we have provided more than 32,000 books to more than 1,200 kids -- all at no cost to the parents.   We have had more than 675 graduates!

Although the program is free to parents, there is a cost to the Club and we have been able to continue the program for 10 years thanks to the financial support of our members, friends and community.    In order to make sure that we have funding to provide books for every enrolled child until their 5th birthday, we recently needed to temporarily stop accepting new applications. 

We are now pleased to announce that we have received a grant that will allow us to re-open enrollments for a limited number of new applicants.   When our new quota is reached we will place all enrollees on a "waiting list" until necessary funding is in hand.   

Congratulations to you for your desire to Instill a Love of Reading and teaching your child that she or he needs to "Learn to Read so they can Read to Learn!"
