United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore has provided the Imagination Library program to children in Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester Counties in Maryland for over 10 years.  To date, nearly 400,000 books have been distributed to over 12,000 children!

In partnership with the local school systems in each county, this program has proven results .... children in Imagination Library are testing more ready for Kindergarten than their non-enrolled peers, showing the true impact that early access to books and reading have on our little ones!
