Catawba County

The Catawba County Partnership for Children works to ensure that children enter school healthy and prepared for long term success.  Since a significant amount of a child's brain is developed in the first 2000 days of life, we understand how critical it is that children get the resources and support they need prior to starting kindergarten.  We serve as Catawba County's primary hub for early childhood initiatives, blending state Smart Start funds, NC Pre-Kindergarten funds, grants, local donations, corporate sponsorships to provide a variety of essential services.  In 2011 we also initiated Dolly Parton's Imagination Library program for Catawba County's children.  We are proud to be a part of such a wonderful early literacy program and are pleased to have received so much community support to put books in the hands of Catawba County's youngest!
