Pittsford

Sara's Stories is a book program in Pittsford that promotes early literacy for children ages 0-5 and is in memory of Sara Gallipo, a beloved community member who passed away a few years ago. Our goal is to give away a new book each month.  We want to bring families together over a story and we want to make sure that opportunity is there for every child in our community. Research shows the importance of early literacy in a child’s life and the impact it has on their future. It is the fourth year of Sara’s Stories and our program has given away over 1,000 books to kids ages 0-5. Just last year, 347 books went to kids in Pittsford!
